Biography of Jessie L. Boothe - Pulaski Co. VA Source: The Index to Pulaski County History in Hardesty's 1884 JESSIE L. BOOTHE--was born in Grayson county, Virginia, in 1827, and in 1849 he married Almira WHITICHER, born in Pulaski county in 1829. He was a son of John and Mary (FOSTER) BOOTHE, and his wife's parents are John and Judy WHITICHER. The children of Mr. And Mrs. BOOTHE were born: Elizabeth Jane, in 1850; Mary Luther, 1852; Robert Craig, 1858 For six months Jesse L. BOOTHE served in the Virginia valley during the civil war as a member of Company F, Fourteenth Virginia Cavalry. He has lived in Pulaski county since he was three years of age, and is now one of the substantial farmers of the county. Newbern, Pulaski county, Virginia, is his address.
