Complaint Against Mary Booth, c1848 - Pulaski Co. VA Virginia, Pulaski County to wit: The jurors of the Grand Jury for the Commonwealth and for the body of the County of Pulaski impanelled in the County Court for said County at a quarterly term of said County commencing on the 9th day of March, 1848, upon their oath present that Mary Booth, late of said County, was, on the 25th day of December, 1847, at the County aforesaid and within the jurisdiction of the County Court aforesaid found in company with Slaves at an unlawful meeting of said slaves then and there assembled in the night at the house of one Page Farmer, upon the plantation of one Henry Honaker, and other ??? and ???, she, the said Mary Booth, did then and there commit to the evil example of all others in like cases offending contrary to the form of the statute in such cases made and provided and against the peace and ?? of the Commonwealth.
