Kuling, agent or personal representative of the Norfolk & Western Rail Road Company, if to be found in your County to appear at the office of William Kirby, Justice in said County, on the 10th day of September 1889, before me or such other Justice of said County as may then be there to try this warrant, to answer the complaint of John Brown upon a claim of money, to wit, for the sum of fifty dollars due for one horse killed by a Norfolk & Western Rail Road train in said County on or near the 20th day of June 1889, and also upon a claim for ten dollars damage from loss of the labor of the said horse; in all the claim being for the sum of sixty dollars ($60) and then and there make return of this warrant.
