James Hedge Debtor, 1844 Pulaski County to wit: To the Sheriff as Jailor of Pulaski County whereas James Hedge who is in custody of the Sheriff of said County for Debt doth petition to be discharged by virtue of the act of assembly for the relief of insolvents debtors; these are therefore to require you to bring of the said James Hedge before me or some other Justice of the Peace for said County together with the cause of detention and have there this precept given under my hand and seal this 17th day of July 1844. A schedule of the estate of James Hedge, an insolvent debtor in custory of the sheriff of Pulaski County to wit: Between twelve and fourteen acres of Corn growing--about four acres of Buckwheat--growing--about eight acres of oats growing--about half acre of Flax growing, many acres garden growing-- about ten bushels planted potatos--one big horse--two small plows--2 pair gears--Hoosier--beds and bedding, (inserted line: Bought at a sale ? ?) five cows, one matchlock and one hoe. One sorrel mare subject to older ?, seven hogs, fourteen head sheep, 4 head cattle and one in my possession and bought by D. L.
