Judgement against Hoge, 1838-1839

Judgement is granted the plantiff against the Defendant for $14.00 ?, with interest from the 23rd day 
of March until paid.
	Randolph O. Fugate, Justice of the Peace

At the request of John Hoge an appeal is granted him from the above Judgement to the next monthly
 term of the Court of Pulaski and thereupon William Hoge acknowledged himself as security in the 
said appeal according to law, given under my hand this 5th day of September, 1839.  
	Randolph O. Fugate, Justice of the Peace

Twelve months after date we or either of us do promise for ourselves, our heirs,  ? to pay James H. 
& Samuel F. Burton, administrators of Benjamin Burton, deceased, the sum of Thirteen Dollars for 
value received.  Witness our hands and seals this 23rd day of March, 1838.
