Obituary of Willard Harvey Pace, 1978 - Pulaski Co. VA SW TIMES February 20, 1978 Willard Harvey PACE, 67, of 1116 Randolph Ave., Pulaski, died Saturday night in the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born July 8, 1910, in Henry County, he was the son of the late George Peyton PACE and Lulie THOMERSON PACE. A member of the First Baptist Church, and Pulaski Pythagoras Lodge No. 239 A.F. & A.M., he was retired from Jefferson Mills as superintendent of the machine shop. Surviving are his widow, Blanche HINSON PACE; one daughter, Mrs. Roger Mary Blanche DEAN of Pulaski; two sons, Gerald Michael PACE of Salem and Harold Duane PACE of Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. H.D. WEAVER of Martinsville and Mrs. Clyde JOYCE of Fieldale and four grand-children. The funeral was today at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Bell officiating assisted by Dr. Charles D. Taylor. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery where graveside rites were conducted by Pythagoras Lodge No. 239.
