Gibson/Harris Marriage, 1855

	To the Clerk of Wythe County Court.

	I, George Painter, certify that on the 20th day of February, A.D. 1855, 
at my own house, in the County of Pulaski, Virginia, I solemnized the rites 
of matrimony, according to the forms of the Presbyterian Church, between 
George W. Gibson, aged 32 years, divorced from a former wife, born in 
Guilford County, North Carolina, residence Wythe County, Virginia, son of 
Joseph Gibson and Amy, his wife, by occupation a day-laborer, and Elizabeth 
Harris, aged 25 years, single, born in Patrick County, Virginia, residence 
Wythe County, daughter of Benjamin Harris and Catharine, his wife.
