Will of Charles Allison Will, 1846 Will Book 1 pg. 90-91 Pg. 90 I Charles Allison of the County of Pulaski and State of Virginia do hereby make my last will and testaments in manner and form following that is to say 1st that I will and bequeath to my nephew Charles H. Allison Son of Robert Allison all of my lands lying in the state of Missouri and county of Moniteau an all except a house and lot and three acres of land lying in town of California in sd. County sd. Land to be rented out till he 21 years old which I will and bequeath to my nephew James Cole son of Stephen Cole of the sd. State. I also leave unto him all of my right and title to two improvements made on lands in the County of Benton in sd. State of Missouri - I will and bequeath to my nephew Robert Allison son of John Allison late of sd. State One fine mare which I left in that State I will and bequeath to my grand nephew John Smith my fine rifle gun and the apparatties there unto belonging. I will and bequeath to the children of my brother John Allison late of sd. State all my stock of cattle and hogs and my other personal property which may be on hand at my decease in sd State of Missouri and not otherwise devised, after all or any debts which may be due from me in sd State of Missouri are paid out of moneys and debts left in the hands of James Cole of sd State the residue I will to sd. James Cole - I will and bequeath to my Brother Francis Allison (In Trust) One hundred dollars this to be so far as it will go to assist in the education of my Sister Martha's Children which she now has to be as nearly equally divided as may or can be equally done. I will and bequeath that after the payment of my funeral expenses and all just debts that I may owe at the time of my decease I leave the balance of my money debts/ and any other property that I may have at my decease to my brother Francis Allison for his own use Viz: not otherwise devised this the money sd in the State of Virginia And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my Brother Francis Allison Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other former wills or testaments. Shephard subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded And on the motion of Francis Allison who made oath thereto and together with Harvey Shephard as his Security entered into sd.
