Jackson RADFORD -- Joseph Haller Jackson, 76, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at the New River Valley Medical Center. He was a member of the Radford Christian Church, a retired employee of RAAP with over 37 years of service, a member of VA May Masonic Lodge 38, A.F. & A.M., the McDaniel Chapter 47 Order of the Eastern Star and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Marie Boyd Jackson; two sons and daughter- in-law, Roy Samuel (Sammy) and Tracy G. Anderson of Pulaski and Gary Randolph (Randy) Anderson of Abingdon; four grandchildren, Jessica Marie Anderson and Lucas Samuel Anderson, Kasey Farmer and Ashley Nelson; two brothers, Walter Jackson of Grayson County and Clarlence Privett of Maryland; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Ellen and Ralph Young of Newark, Del., Lessie Call of Grayson County and Imagene Mattson of Maryland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Radford Christian Church with the Rev. Andrew Woodward officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford where members of VA May Masonic Lodge 38 A.F. and A.M. will conduct Masonic graveside rites. Members of VA May Masonic Lodge are to meet at the West View Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Radford Christian Church, 1300 Second St., Radford,VA 24141. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
