OWNERS: B. R. Miller, Washington, Virginia. DESCRIPTION: This graveyard is surrounded by an old rock wall. It is the burying ground of the Miller and Brown families. There are numerous graves with rock markers, but only two stones were found with inscriptions prior to 1860. Some old families’ slaves are buried just outside this graveyard. The following inscriptions were copied from markers: James T. Brown Born May 21, 1786 Died Oct. 28, 1859 Cassandria J. Brown Born Nov. 30, 1788 Died Aug. 4, 1859 HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: None.
