Cemetery Location:  On the Downing farm, Black Rock, Virginia, at the foot of 
                    the mountain between Warren and  Rappahannock Counties and 
                    three miles off Route #211.
                    Rappahannock Co., Virginia


DATE:

1851.

OWNERS:

Downing.

DESCRIPTION:

Situated to the right of the home and enclosed by a wire fence.  It is not well 
cared for and has grown up with bushes and is also very rough.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

The following inscriptions were copied from the stones:
