Atkins Cemetery Location: 3 miles North of Washington, Virginia, on Fodder Stack Road, Route #628. Rappahannock Co., Virginia DATE: 1843 or before. OWNERS: John R. Moore, present owner. (1936) DESCRIPTION: A private burying ground for the Moores and Dearings. It is in bad condition, grown up with all kinds of bushes. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscriptions were copied from the stones in the Moore-Dearing Cemetery: William Moore Born Mar. 20, 1827 Died June 4, 1852 George L.
