Atkins Cemetery Location: 3 miles from Woodville, Virginia, on Route #3, between Scrabble, Virginia and Woodville. Rappahannock Co., Virginia DATE: None. OWNERS: C. H. Hawkins, present owner. (1936) DESCRIPTION: A private burying ground enclosed by a stone wall which has fallen down. It is located near the home and is in bad condition, grown up with bushes and undergrowth, to such extent as to make it impossible to read the inscriptions on many of the stones. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscription was copied from the stone: Dr. Mark Reid and Family Asleep in Jesus We Shall meet beyond the River. SOURCES OF INFORMATION: Informant: Mrs. C. H.
