DESCRIPTION:

A private cemetery situated near the house; enclosed by a cement wall and in 
very good condition.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

The following inscriptions were copied from the tombstones:

Died May 27, 1854
In the 38th year of her age.
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord


James A.
Son of C. & T. R. Smith
Died Feb. 21, 1849
In the 8th year of His Age


In Memory of

Died Dec. 4, 1846


Festus B.
Son of C. & T. R. Smith
Died July 15, 1854
Aged 6 Mos. & 11 days
