Cemetery Location:  One mile north of Sperryville, Virginia, on Route #3
                    Rappahannock Co., Virginia


DATE:

1843, date of the oldest grave.

OWNERS:

Dr. C. E. Johnson, present owner. (1936)

DESCRIPTION:

A private family burying ground, located north of the home.  It is enclosed by a 
wire fence and it has been well cared for.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

In Parturition of her Worth and Virtue This Stone is Affectionately Erected By 
her Husband who with a fond Mother is left to Mourn Over Their Inexpressible 
loss.
Blessed are the Pure in Heart For They Shall see God.
