I do with the advice of Council do hereby certify that Lewis Rouse, a soldier 
wounded in the action near Petersburg in the year 1781 is put on the pension 
list with an allowance of eight pounds yearly, commencing on the 20th day of 
December, 1792, according to law.  Given under my hand as Governor of the 
Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 17th day of December 1784.
