Tune Richmond County Will Book 4, pages 30-31 "In the Name of God Amen. I Mark Tune of the Parrish of North Farnham in the County of Richmond being very sick and weak of Body but of perfect Sence and Memory Do Bequeath my Soul to God who gave it and my Body to Earth from whence it was taken to be Buried in good Christian Burial at the Discretion of Exect. hereafter Named. First I will that my Debts and funerall charges be paid and Discharged. Item: I give and bequeath all and every of my Land and Tenements whatsoever to be Equally Divided between my Loving Sons, Wm. Tune, Mark Tune, Tho. Tune and James Tune to be Equally Divided between my Sons as aforesaid and their heirs Lawfully begotten of their Body for Ever and its further my Will and Desire that if any one of my Sons aforesaid Dies leaving no Issue, then the surviving sons and their heirs shall Inherit same by an Equal Devision as aforesaid. And in case my aforesaid Sons all Die and Leaving no issue that then it is my Will that the Lands aforesaid to be Equally Divided between my two Daughters Ann and Elizabeth Tune and their heirs for Ever. Item: I give and bequeath unto my Loving Daughter Ann Tune my New feather bed and furniture and if she Dies before she comes of age it is my Will instead that Loving Son James Tune have the Bed and furniture as aforesaid. Item: I give and bequeath fo my Daughter Elizabeth Tune one feather bed and furniture, one Iron pott about seven galls. and the great Table and furthermore if my said Daughter Dies before she comes of Age I give the aforesaid & bequeath to my Loving Son Tho: Tune and his heirs for Ever. Item: It is my Will and Desire that my Loving friends James and Barbary Tomson may take my two Daughters Ann and Elizabeth Tune to their government till they come to the age of Sixteen, and the aforesaid feather bed and furniture that I give to my Daughter Ann and two cows and the female Increase to my Daughters and the Male increase to the said James Tomson, And the Rest of my Plantation that Tho: Rawlins now lives on as long as it Rented by my Executor; and when my Daughters come to Age of Sixteen as aforesaid then their cows 10th(?) the females increase and the Bed and furniture to be Delivered up to them. Item: I give and bequeath to Loving Son Lewis Tune one feather bed, boulster and one small white Rugg that belongs to the Bed and half a dozen of Puter Plates. Item: I give and bequeath all and every the Remainder of my Personally Estate whatsoever to be Equally Devided between my five sons John, Wm., Mark, Thomas and James Tune. Item: It is my Will that my Loving Son John Tune Do Live on the Plantation whereon I now Live and Keep his four Brothers in Christian Manor till they come to the age of Eighteen and then to Deliver up to them their Estate. I Constitute and Appoint my well beloved Son John Tune to be my only Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, revoking Disanulling and making void all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament and in Witness whereof I have hereunto affixed my hand and seal this Twentieth first of September A.
