Hammock should die before he shall marry, or arrive at the age of twenty one years, then the said boy Edmund to be given to my Grand daughter Augusta M Hammock & her heirs. 2dly. I Give my negro Girl Elisa & her future increase to my Grand Daughter Augusta M. Hammock & her herirs but in Case the said Augusta M Hammock shall die before she marry's or arrives at the age of twenty one years, then the said negro Girl Eliza & her future increase to be Given to said Nopoleon B. Hammock & his heirs. 3rdly. I leave my negro woman Phillis & her future increase to be equally divided between the above named Napoleon B. & Augusta M. Hammock & their heirs but in case that either of them should die before he or she marries or arrives at the age of twenty one years, then the said woman Phillis & her future increase to be Given to the surviving one or to his or her heirs. It is my will & desire that if both the above named Nopoleon B. & Augusta M. Hammock should die without Lawful heirs of their body, the said boy Edmund, the said Girl Eliza & woman Phillis, with their increase, be divided among & Given to any Child or children which my daughter, Winfred S. Hammock, may hereafter have by her present husband John W. Hammock, or by any future husband. And Lastly. I leave my stock of hogs & Cattle & my house hold & kitchen furniture with all other property of what kind & nature soever of which I may die possessed, to be equally divided in kind between the before named Nopoleon B Hammock & Augusta M. Hammock or their heirs. It is however my wish that the said stock of hogs & Cattle & furniture be not taken out of the possession of John W. Hammock or my daughter Winefred S. Hammock during the natural life of my said Daughter but that at her death there be made an equal division of the same, with the increase thereof Between the said Nopoleon B. & Augusta M Hammock. Whereupon Richard Durrett, a Witness called upon by the Court and sworn deposed that the aforesaid paper writing was written by him, and the said Molly Demeritt acknowledged as and for her last will and testament but not subscribed in his presence. I give and bequeath to my Son James L. Bell, one Horse of forty Dollars Value, or forty dollars in Cash, when he arrives to the age of Twenty one years, and to his heirs forever - Item 2. I Give and bequeath to my daughter Alice F. Bell, one Bed and furniture, and forty Dollars in Cash, when she come to the age of Twenty one years or on the day of her marriage and to her heirs forever - Item 3. I loan to my beloved wife Elizabeth Bell the residue of my estate both real and personal during her natural life or widowhood, but if she marries to Have her dower agreeable to Law, and after her decease to be equally divided among these my Children, Charles L. Bell, Bartholomew Bell, James L. Bell, Alice F. Bell, Elizabeth N. Bell, William D. Bell and Thornton P. Bell. I Loan to my GrandSon, William M. Bell an equal part of my estate with the rest of my children above mentioned during his life, and give to the Lawful begotton heirs of his body the same forever, if he should die without out a Lawful begotton heir; my desire is for it to return to my Children, except my land & mill, which I desire to remain for the support and Schooling of my Small Children, untill the youngest one is eighteen years of age, and then my land equally divided, and not to be sold, except my mill, which is to be sold; and the mony equally divided among my Children, which I give to them, and their heirs forever. - I do appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Bell, and my Son Charles L.
