RICHMOND, VA - COURT - Joseph Gallego, Emancipation of slave Humbro, 10 Feb 1800 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- I, Joseph Gallego of the City of Richmond, for good causes thereunto moving have and by these presents emancipate and set a negro man slave named Humbro, which said slave, the said Gallego bought of (blank white space here) Bowles of Henrico, the said negro Humbro is about thirty two years old and he is hereby declared to be a free man from this time forward forever. IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of February 1800.
