RICHMOND, VA - COURT - John Henry, Emancipation of slave James, 10 Feb 1806

I John Henry of the City of Richmond do hereby set free and emancipate the
within named mulatto child slave James and hereby relinquish for myself, my
heir &c all right title interest and claim to him, the said James or any
estate he may hereafter acquire.

WITNESS my hand and seal this tenth day of February one thousand eight hundred
and six.

                         At a Monthly Court of Hustings 
                  & Held for the City of Richmond at the Courthouse on
                          Monday the 10th day of February 1806
