THIS INDENTURE made this 22nd day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight, between Benjamin DuVal of the City of Richmond, of the one part and Thomas Underwood of the said City, of the other part.

WITNESSETH, that the said Benjamin DuVal for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars for him in hand paid by the said (blank) Underwood, the. . .
