Moseley, Sr., Dies in Richmond NEWPORT NEWS - Adolphus Garland Moseley, Sr., 75, of this city, died Monday afternoon at Medical College Hospital, Richmond. He had been ill a month. Moseley moved to Newport News 37 years ago from Warsaw, Duplin County, N. C., and founded a furniture business which he has conducted ever since. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Corrinne Moseley, and three children, A. G. Moseley, Jr.; Mrs. Aubrey Robertson and Mrs. Charles C. Epes, Jr., all of this city; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Hunter, of Wilmington, N. C., and a nephew, James W. Hunter, of this city. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 P.M. with the Rev. A. B. Note: Adolphus Garland Moseley was born 26 Jul 1857 in Duplin County the son of Adolphus Garland Moseley and Louisa Ann Pearsall of Duplin County, NC, the latter being the daughter of Jeremiah Pearsall and Katherine Middleton. Adolphus Garland Moseley married on 24 Dec 1905, Mary Corrine Pearsall, who was born 14 Aug 1880, the daughter of John Wesley Pearsall and Anne Elizabeth Ervin. Anne Elizabeth Ervin Pearsall resided in Richmond and is buried in Hollywood Cemetery.
