Richmond VA - Marriage Certificate - Joseph Nixon to Ethel Simmons, 1913

This is to certify that the Records of the Circuit Court of The City of 
Richmond, John Marshall Courts Building, (formerly the Hustings Court of the 
City of Richmond) reveal that on the 11th day of February, 1913 a license was 
issued for the intermarriage of Joseph Nixon, white male, age 34 and Ethel 
Simmons, White female, age 21 and that on the 11th day of February, 1913 the 
said parties were united in Holy Matrimony, in the City of Richmond, Virginia 
by the Rev. J.M. Macon.
Grooms parents:  Hugh and Mary Nixon
Groom born in Appomattox, Virginia

Bride's parents: John Kansas (Jack) Simmons and Pearl Elmo Matthews. Bride 
born in Richmond, Virginia.
 In testimony thereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal of said court, 
this 5th day of May, 1987, Iva R. Purdy, Clerk.
