RICHMOND, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Kate Bilberry, 15 Oct 1805 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Kate Bilbery of Richmond, being in my usual health and of perfect sound state of mind and memory and do recalling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain publish and declare this instrument of writing to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all and every will heretofore made by me. The property which the almighty in his goodness hath been pleased to bless me with, I dispose of in the manner following, that is to say: I give and devise unto my son James Bilberry (heretofore a servant to the deceased Robert Baine) to him and his heirs forever, a part of the lot of sand in the City of Richmond known by the Number three hundred and eighty four (384) to wit, that part which includes my garden and the house in which I now reside, the dividing line to be the eastern side of the garden (as a lasting mark thereof there is now growing a small poplar tree in the inside about a foot from the garden pale, and runs in an equal breadth of the garden to the end of the lot which is terminated by the bason of the James River canal with the house or houses thereon and every thing belonging or appertaining thereto. I desire my Executors, hereafter named, to collect the money due to me from the James River company for the condemned sand of a part of my aforesaid lot (which money I give and devise to the said James Bilberry and also desire them to pay it to him as soon as collected. I give and devise to the said James Bilberry his heirs and assigns forever all other property of which I may be possessed or to which I am entitled of whatsoever description. I hereby nominate and appoint the following persons that is to say Pleasanat Young husband, Samuel Parsons and William Austin of the County of Henrico and City of Richmond to be Executors of this my last will and testament.
