RICHMOND, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Claiborne B. Crittington, 1801

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Claiborne B. Crittington of the City of Richmond,
being in perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and
testament, viz:

Item: I give unto Fanny Crittington four acres of land lying and being on the
County of New Kent adjoining the lands of Samuel Bailey & James Fox, whereon
Susanna Cross now lives and has her life in.

I also give unto said Fanny Crittington, nine dollars which is due me by
Susanna Cross for rent of the said land.  I also give unto said Fanny
Crittington a bond of five dollars due me by said Susanna Cross which bond is
now in hands of Thomas Southworth.

I also leave unto said Fanny Crittington all the money that is due me by the
State of Virginia, also the few dollars that is in the hands of the (said)
Underwood.

I also dirrect all my clothes and che___ to be sold and the money arising from
the sale to be to said Tammy Crittington.

I leave Thomas Underwood as my Executor.

           At a Monthly Court of Hustings continued by adjournment and 
                         Held for the City of Richmond
                      Tuesday the tenth day of January 1801
Witness:

Josiah Bingham
Robert Broadus
H. Parry

This Will was presented in Court, proved by the oaths of Josiah Bingham and H.
Parry, witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.  And on the motion of
Thomas Underwood, the Executor in the said Will named, who made oath thereto
according to law and together with Josiah Bingham, his security entered into
and acknowledged, their bond in the penalty of twenty four pounds, conditioned
as the law directs, Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof
in due form.
