RICHMOND, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - William Webb, 25 Apr 1805

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I William Webb of the City of Richmond, mariner,
being sick of body but of sound mind and recollection do make this my last
will and testament as follows, viz:

Imprimis, I leave unto my dear wife Elizabeth and my infant son James M. Webb
all my worldly goods, all debts, legacies to be equally divided between them,
and in case of the death of either, the survivor shall inherit the whole
forever and my wife is hereby required to discharge as soon as possible all
just debts due by me to any person or persons.

WITNESS my hand and seal this day aforesaid, Richmond, April 25th, 1805.

in the presence of:

George Duncan
David R. Ross
J. G. Eger

                         At a Monthly Court of Hustings 
                  & Held for the City of Richmond at the Courthouse on
                          Monday the 10th day of June 1805

This Will was proved by the oaths of George W. Duncan, David R. Ross and Jacob
G. Eger, the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.  And on the motion
of Elizabeth Webb, the Executrix therein named who made oath thereto according
to law, and together with Gabriel Ralston, her security entered into and
acknowledged their bond in the penalty of six thousand dollars conditioned to
this Testament, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probat thereof in
due form.
