CAIN FAMILY CEMETERY (Black) - Roanoke County, VA

Located: In 1918 Mr & Mrs George Cain, whose forebears were
         slaves of the Langhorne family of Salem, gave the 
	 land for this cemetery to the people of Christian
	 Valley. It is maintained in reasonably good condition
	 by the "Cain Club". About 1/2 acre in size, it is at
	 the end of a dirt road. From West Main Street in 
	 Salem take Goodwin Ave. north to its intersection
	 with Wildwood Rd, turn left on Wildwood and go about 
	 .8 mile to a gravel road on the right. After .2 mile
	 on gravel road, turn onto the dirt one. There are 
	 many unmarked graves.
