	 Loudon Ave & Melrose Ave., Roanoke, VA

TAKEN FROM TOMBSTONES, OBITS, DEATH RECORDS AND TOMBSTONE RECORDS TAKEN 
PRIOR TO 1920 BY THE ROANOKE VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND WPA SURVEY:ALL 
BODIES MOVED TO FAIRVIEW CEMETERY EXCEPT MARY B SHORT AND EDWARD SHORT 
WHO WERE MOVED TO SPEEDWELL NEAR STARKEY. THESE GRAVES WERE NOT OF 
MCCLANAHAN FAMILY MEMBERS, BUT OF SERVANTS, SOME SLAVES AND POSSIBLY 
INDIANS.
