DUCKWILER & his wife Mary DUCKWILER & Daniel DUCKWILER & his wife Margaret DUCKWILER & Decator GREENWOOD & his wife Eliza Ann GREENWOOD of the County of Cass & State of Illinois of the first part & Mathew BANDY of the County of Roanoke State of Virginia of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred $300.00 in hand paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the parties of the first part do grant Bargain and sell unto the party of the second part all their entire interests in and to a certain track or lot of land lying in the county of Roanoke State of Virginia and joining the Lands of the said Mathew BANDY & J. F. Loving supposed to be same 49 acres be the same more or less, and is now in the occupancy of Mrs. Solome DUCK- WILER & Mother who is the widow of Isaac DUCKWILER Dec. & said in trust consists of three sevenths parts of said Dower and Descends to us heirs at law of the said Isaac DUCKWILER Dec. and the parties of the first part do agree to warrant generly (sic) the intrust hereby con- veyed. Witness the following signatures & Seals - Witnesses Joseph B. Duckwiler (seal) Signed Sealed and delivered Mary X Duckwiler (seal) in presence of Daniel Duckwiler (seal) William B. Shaw Margaret X Duckwiler (seal) Eliza Ann X Greenwood (seal) Decator X Greenwood (seal) State of Illinois, Cass County – SS I William B. Shaw a Notary Public in and for the said County, in the State of Illinois aforesaid do hereby certify that Joseph B. DUCKWILER and his wife Mary DUCKWILER Daniel DUCKWILER and Margaret DUCKWILER his wife, Eliza Ann GREENWOOD and her husband Decator GREENWOOD personally known to me to be the same persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, appeared before me this day in person and acknowledged that they signed, sealed and delivered the said instrument as their free and voluntary act, for the uses and purposed therein set forth, including the release and right of waiver of homestead. Given under my hand and Notarial Seal this Seventh dayof January A.D. 1881. William B. Shaw Notary Public In the Clerk’s office of the County Court of Roanoke County the 15th day of August 1881. This Deed from Joseph B. DUCKWILER and others to Matthew BANDY bearing date on the 27th day of December 1880 was produced and together with the cer- tificates of acknowledgment thereto annexed admitted to record. Teste Wm.
