ROANOKE COUNTY, VA - OBITUARIES - Styrle Irtone (S.I.) Taylor, Jr.

"Mr. Styrle Irtone (S.I.) Taylor, Jr., age 57, of Route 5, Salem,
passed away Monday.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary W. Taylor; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jerry Kovacs, Richmond; Cheryl and
David Griffith, Salem;  one son, R. Lindsey Taylor, Fayetteville, N.C.;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Styrle I. Taylor, Sr., Salem;  two sisters, Mary
Frances Whitesell, Greensburg, Pa.; Lynette Red, Christiansburg; two
brothers, J.P. Taylor, C.W. Taylor, both of Salem; four granddaughtes; one
grandson.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the John M.
Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, with the Rev. Henry S. Moody, Jr.
officiating with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the
funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.  The family requests, in
lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or Salem
