Deceased Name: OBIT - DARNELL, JUANITA STULTZ, (NITIE)  
 
DARNELL, Juanita Stultz, (Nitie), 79, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, 
July 7, 2000, in a Roanoke hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, 
Robert F. Darnell, a son, Mark Steven Darnell, and two brothers, Alfred Stultz, 
and Lawrence Stultz. Mrs. Darnell was a daughter of the late Archie and Alice 
Day Stultz. Surviving are her sons, Robert L. Darnell and his wife, Mary M. Darnell 
of Roanoke, Gerald W. Darnell, and Thomas A. Darnell, both of Troutville; a daughter, 
Joan Dorsett and husband, David Dorsett; grandchildren, Starr D. McClure, Linda D. 
Dowdy, Preston Darnell, Jason Dorsett, Jeffery Dorsett, and Ashley Darnell; a 
great-granddaughter, Trista Dowdy; a great-grandson, Duane Darnell; brothers, 
Warren Stultz and his wife Geneva, Cecil M. Stultz, Cleatus Stultz, Roy Stultz, 
and Buddy Stultz; sisters, Frances Pruitt and husband Carl, and Mae Taylor and 
husband Ken; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Della Sylvester and 
Kellen Higgins. The family wishes to thank the special caregivers, Kathleen Waller, 
Chris Clark, Pattie Cooper, and Doris Darnell. Funeral services will be conducted at 
1 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2000, from Oakey's North Chapel, Dr. Glenn Tabor officiating. 
Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 
9 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Oakey's North Chapel.
