HOGAN, BERTHA M.

Mrs. Bertha McGhee Hogan, age 85, of Roanoke died Saturday in a local 
hospital. She was a member of Waverly Place Baptist Church. Surviving are 
her husband, Elmer B. Hogan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ocelia and 
Hildrey Pollard, Vinton; Shirley and James Robertson, Roanoke; a son and 
daughter-in-law, George E. and Dorothy Hogan, Roanoke; ten grandchildren; 
eighteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Era Austin, Roanoke; and a number 
of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton 
Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 1991, with the Rev. Charles Hoffler 
officiating. Burial will be in Fair View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions 
may be made to Waverly Place Baptist Church, 1407 Kenwood Blvd., Roanoke, 
Va., 24013. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
