Roanoke Times, The (VA) - July 14, 1999 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deceased Name: OBIT - STULTZ, LUCILLE HOGAN STULTZ, Lucille Hogan, of Roanoke Co. was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 12, 1999. She and her husband owned and operated Sun Valley Swim Club and Campground for twenty-two years . She is a graduate of Fincastle High School and was a supporting active long-time member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church of Roanoke where she served on the Board; served as substitute teacher in 1956; was a member of the United Workers Sunday School Class and also the U.M.W. She was a devoted and very much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death and is now united with her husband of 55 years, Lawrence F. Stultz; her parents, John and Nettie Hogan of Botetourt County; four sisters, Ethel Hogan Elmore, Zaida Franklin Horne, Bertha Hogan Barksdale, Louise Hogan Medley; three brothers, Shirley O. Hogan, Harry H. Hogan and Roy W. Hogan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ray Fink of Goodview; son and daughter-in- law, Larry and Linda Stultz of Roanoke; granddaughter and husband, Robin and Spencer Mills of Goodview; grandson and wife, Troy and Heather Stultz; grandson, Daryl Stultz, of Roanoke; grandson and wife, Jacob and Kim Fink of Goodview; great-grandchildren, Jamie Mills, Jody Mills, Bailey Stultz, Austin and Trey Fink; many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and her wonderful loyal friends. The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home on Franklin Road from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. Michael Reeves and by the Rev. Anthony Busic on Wednesday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church or to the Mount Pleasant First Aid.
