at the State Court House in Richmond, VA on 18 September 1880.9

Knick); John A. Reynolds and Rebecca his wife (nee Knick); Robert
Wilhelm, Mary Wilhelm (infant), Joseph Wilhelm, Rebecca Wilhelm
(infant), John Wilhelm, Reuben Wilhelm, Louisa Wilhelm (all infants)
Ben Grigsby Wilhelm (infant); James Bradds, George Goodbar, and

Upon appeal of decree forwarded by the Circuit Court of Rockbridge
27 May 1879.....
        Overruled exceptions taken by Deft. Samuel G. Knick as well
as exceptions to the competency of Mary Entsminger.  Sally Clark,
John B. Knick, and Andrew Knick as witnesses, also depositions of
witnesses Joseph S. Phillips.
        Samuel G. Knick has no valid lien, charge or claim upon or
against the land.....

Knick); Rebecca Reynolds; Sally Clark; Robert, Joseph, Mary,
Rebecca, John, Reuben, Louisa, and Ben G. Wilhelm, children of Eliza
Jane (Knick) Wilhelm deceased; James Brash [sic], Eliza Goodbar
(wife of George), William A. Brash [sic], children of Harriet Ann
Knick Brash [sic] deceased.
