General Warranty (except for the taxes for the year 1907) the land containing 190 acres more or less, situated in Natural Bridge District, Rockbridge County, Virginia, on the waters of North River. Beginning at a locust and hickory stumps on the top of the South Mountain in the Amherst County line, corner to land formerly owned by Washington College, With lines of the same, N 17, W 124 poles to a hickory and double red oak, N 33, W 154 poles to a fallen pine and pointers, corner to said College land and Wm. Weaverıs land (now Bradyıs), With a line of same, N 40, E 196 poles crossing a branch to three hickories in a hollow, now marked corner to land formerly owned by James Laird, With lines of same, S 1, E 126 poles, crossing a branch to a pine on a knob of rocks, S 27, E 113 poles crossing a branch to a Mahogany and pointers in a branch, corner to said College lands, With lines of same, S 71, W 23 poles to a fallen Spanish Oak and two hickory grubs marked near the top of the ridge above a large rock, S 3, E 53 poles to a chestnut, S 42, W 24 poles to a hickory and small locust near rocks, S 37, E 20 poles to a leaning hickory on the top of the mountain, Then along the top of the mountain, S 21, W 85 poles to the beginning. This being the same tract conveyed to the said party of the first part by deed dated 3 February 1893, from J. T. Dunlop, of record in the County Court Clerkís Office of said Rockbridge County in Deed Book 79, page 83, and the same tract conveyed to said J. T. Dunlop by deed of date Feb 2th 1876, from J. H. Paxton, Administrator, etc of Elisha Paxton, decıd. of record in said County Court Clerkıs Office in Deed Book PP at page 142. The party of the first part covenants that she has the right to convey the said land to the grantee; that she has done no act to encumber the said land; that the grantee shave have quiet possession of the said land, free from all encumbrances, and that the said party of the first part will execute such further assurances of the said land as me be requisite.
