     In 1809, John Tribbett became seized of a fee simple tract of
39 acres and sold to David Entsminger, who sold to Alexander
Entsminger who sold his interest to Jacob Nicely, who sold to James
Clarke, and he sold to Lewis Entsminger, and he sold to Wesley
Dempsey.
     Joseph F. Steele, Commissioner to Lewis Entsminger and Lewis T.
Tolley, Andrew P. Tolley, Joseph D. Tolley, Francis M. Tolley, Reson
C. Tolley, Hezekiah B. Tolley, Samuel G. Tolley, Joseph Nick, John
Nick, and Harriet Ann Nick; heirs at law of Joseph Tolley deceased.
     Tract begins on headwaters of Colliers Creek, adjoining Lewis
and Alexander Entsminger, James Clark, and Frederick Carter.

6 February 1862          Deed of Trust
     J. D. Davidson Commissioner of 1st part, William A. Dixon and Betsy his
wife of 2nd part, and Daniel Falby of 3rd part, all of Rockbridge.
     Falby and William Black in his lifetime, in Feb 1846, made an exchange of
protions of land adjoining tracts of land lying on Blacks Creek.  Black agreed
to convey 4 Acres and 2 poles to Falby in exchange for 4 acres and 2 poles of
Falby's alnd.  [metes and bounds of the 2 parcels are described by survey made
by J. C. C. Moore, County Surveyor, 21 Feb 1846, copy filed in cause pending in
which sd. Falby is ptf and heirs of Wm. Black defts.]

     James G. Davidson of 1st part, Daniel Falby and Jane his wife of 2nd part,
Andrew D. hall of 3rd part.
     By deed 6 April 1854, Falby conveyed to Robert T. Marshall, tract of alnd
on waters of Blacks Creek.
     Marshall did not execute Deed of Trust.
          Falby sells to Hall.

     Andrew P. Tolley, and Juliane his wife to William Armentrout. 
Their undivided interest in a tract on the headwaters of Colliers
Creek, adjoining Lewis C. Entsminger, James Clark, Wesley Dempsey,
and others.  The same formerly owned by Joseph Tolley and deeded to
his heirs by decree of Circuit Court.  For $15.00.  Signed (X his
mark) Andrew Tolley, Juli Ana Tolley.
