W. F. Johnston, S.R.C. [Sheriff of Rockbridge County] admr of John Waskey, Jr.
dec'd filed bill of chancery ......... tract of land made by his testator as
admr of John Waskey, Sr. dec'd containing 410 Acres to T. W. hardy and Wesley
Hardy.
    T. W. Hardy and Exor of Wesley Hardy dec'd answ'd but claimed a deficiency
in amt. of land purchased and claimed that a partition had been made.
    Survey showed 393 A, # R, 20 P.  Decretal order 12 Oct 1878- J. F. Steele
Special Commissioner- conveyed to T. W. Hardy his share of sd. land, and to the
heirs of Wesley Hardy dec'd his share of sd. land.
    T. W. Hardy departed life since order entered.  His hrs at law B. F. Hardy
and T. H. Hardy.
    Deed made 9 Feb 1885 from J. G. Steele Special Commissioner to B. F. Hardy
and T. H> hardy for $1.00 (Special Warranty Deed)
    On Waters of Cedar Creek and Beginning at stone near top of a hill in
line........ (gives complete description).

Part of lands of late George B. Shaner deceased, adjoining Joseph F.
Shaner, Thomas S. White (purchased of widow and legatees). (102
acres) In trust to secure debt to J. K. Edmondson Exor. of A.
Leyburn dec'd. $2,000.00, for this land.
