  The Bearer, William Bradley, having _____ the 10th day of December 1777 to 
serve the term of three years in the 5th Regiment of Virginia Continental Troops 
was entitled to this discharge the 10th day of December 1780.  The ___ Bradley 
is discharged. Given under my hand Richmond Nov. 2th 1783    A. Buford, Col.

The above Wm. Bradford was wounded as ______ of Col. Buford at the W-- -----.

***Certified wounds by Dr. Foushes--wounds on left hand and fingers, on the 
right hand also. (Document small, hard to read)

 I do with the advice of this council certify that William Bradford late a 
serjeant in the 7th Virginia Regiment appears to have been disabled in such a 
manner while in the service of the United States as to entitle him to the sum of 
eighteen pounds yearly to commence from the first day of January 1786. Given 
under my hand at Richmond this 13th day of January 1786.     P. Henry
