REVOLUTIONARY WAR PENSION AFFIDAVIT - MILES CARDIFF

Soldier-10th Virginia Regt.
Rockbridge County

This certifies that the bearer Miles Cardiff soldier in the Corps of Invalids 
having been examined by and is found to be unfit for any further duty, either in 
the fields or Garrison on account of a wound which has rendered his arm useless 
which appears by a certificate langen? in my office singed (signed) by the Col. 
and the surgon (surgeon) of his regiment.  He is, at his own request,  
________to his Excellancy, the Commander in Chief, for a Discharge, agreeable to 
a resolution  of _____of the County.  Third of April 1782.
