Curtis, wife of Mr. Robert S. Curtis, of 115 East Main Street, succumbed in the C&O Hospital, at Clifton Forge, at 3:20 o'clock this morning. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from First Presbyterian Church in Covington, with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Curtis was born in Goshen, Rockbridge County, Va., March 21, 1868, daughter of John and Elizabeth Plott. She had been a resident of Covington since 1911, and was a consistent member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, as well as a kind and good neighbor. Surviving are her husband, Mr. Robert S. Curtis, and the following children: Oliver P. Curtis, Mrs. Lelia Balsey and Mrs. Evelyn Lemons, of Covington; Guy Curtis, of Selma; Mark and Edward Curtis, of Covington; three brothers, W.B. and E.W. Plott, of Covington, and Robert Plott, of Omar, W.Va. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.
