Plott died at his home at 205 Locust Street, at 9 o'clock Monday night, following an illness of about three months. Mr. Plott was 64 years old and was a native of Rockbridge County, although he had lived in Covington for a number of years, where he was an employee of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with Rev. Ernest L. Hoats, of Covington Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Plott was a member of the Goshen Presbyterian Church from which he never moved his membership. Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nannie Plott and one son, Robert. Two brothers, Robert Plott of Omar, W.Va., and E.W.Plott, of Covington, also survive. A sister, Mrs. R.S. Curtis preceeded her brother in death about a year ago. Pallbearers will be: Active -- John Craft, W.O. Nida, Sandy Anderson, George Bartley, Wheeler Ailstock, W.B. Burkholder. Honorary -- C.M. Richards, Aaron Kidd, Ed Harding, Emmett Fridley, Mr. Hedrick, J.L. Frankland, B.F. Jones, Dr. N.B. Jeter, T.R. Heironimus, Walter Parker, Rice Agnor, W.S. Pedigo, Grover Barger, John Carpenter, Frank Wolford and R. Frazier Smith.
