A funeral sevice for Mr. E.W. Plott will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home on South Alleghany Ave., conducted by the Rev. C.J. Hollandsworth. Mr. Plott was preceeded in death by his wife, who was Maggie E. Vest, eleven years ago, and also a son Harry E., thirteen years ago, and Lorenza A., an infant son. Mr. Plott was born in Rockbridge County, June 3, 1875, the son of John A. Plott and Betty E. Vess. He had been a resident of Covington for the past 25 years. He was an employee of the C&O Railway for 18 years. Mr. Plott is survived the following children: John D. of Grafton, W.Va.; Ralph E., of Norfolk, William W., Mrs. Earl Fortune, Miss Florence E. Plott, Sam A., Guy, and Mrs. Edith Summer, all of Covington, and Mrs. Betty Mesaris of Sacramento, Calif. Also 23 grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be: C.A. Coburn, Sr.. W.E. Apperson, C.C.
