Obit. of Ola May Terry Smith.

OBIT:  Lexington-Ola Mae TerrySmith, 95, of Lexington, died Saturday, Jan.
3, 1998, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lexington.  She was the wiow of
William Floyd Smith.
  She was born April 8, 1902, in Amherst county, a daughter of the late
Addie Terry and Sally Greene Terry.
  Mrs. Smith was a member of Lexington Church of God of Prophecy.
  Surviving are four sons, James W. Smith of Selma; Carl J. Smith of
Colonial Heights, Charls H. Smith of Chesterfield County, Herman G. Smith
of Roxboro, NC, two daughters,  Mrs. Estelle Hunt of Lexington; Mrs. Beulah
Chaplin of Peterburg; a sister Ella Switzer of Iron Gate, 23 grandchildren;
58 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.
  A funeral was conducted today at 2 p.m.in the W. B. Harrison Funeral Home
Chapel, Lexington, with the Rev. Charles Russell officiating.  Interment
was in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
