Green's Note: This does not appear to be William Priestley, Jr., son of William Sr. and Mary Priestley. The marriage bond does not have "Junr" after his name, like it does for William Jr.'s marriage to Sarah Beach in 1786. This is possibly the third William Presley in the 1783 Rockbridge Co., VA Tax List, with notation: "Weaver," after his name, whose connection to the William Priestley, Sr. Family is unknown at this time. --------------- III.
