Marriage Bond of John Morris and Elizabeth Highman 24 April 1792.

Know all men by these presents that we John Morris & John Standoff
are held & firmly bound to the Commonwealth of Virginia in the penal sum
of fifty pounds current money to the payment well & [       line torn       ]
Jointly & severally firmly by these presents--Witness our hands & seals this
24th day of April 1792
        The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas
there is a marriage shortly intended to be Solemnized between Jno. Morris and
Elizabeth Highman of the County of Rockbridge

If therefore there be no lawful cause to obstruct the same then this Obligation
to be void or else to remain in full force.
