Marriage Bond of Phillip Feazel and Polly Good, 6 January 1801.  
(Transcription)

     Know all men that we Phillip Feazel & George Goode are held & firmly bound
to James Monroe govenor of the commonwealth of Virginia or his Successor in sum
of one hundred and fifty Dollars for which payment well and truly to be made we
bind ourselves our heirs Executors & c jointly and severally firmly by these
presents.  

     The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a
marriage shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Phillip
Feazel  & Polly Good Daughter of John Good Decd late of Rockbridge County

     If therefore there shall be no lawful cause to obstruct the same then this
obligation to be void or else to remain in full force.

     Know all men by these presents that we Nathaniel Gaylor William Foran are
held and firmly bound to James Monroe govenor of the Commonwealth of Virginia
