Ruley, 1997 All rights reserved.] ************************************************************************** *************************************************************************** Transcription Of Andrew Tolley and Harriet Ann Tolley's Marriage Bond Know all men by these presents, That we Andrew Tolley and David Clark of Rockbridge County are held and firmly bound unto John Floyd Esqr, Governor or Chief Magistrate of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the just and full sum of One Hundred and fifty dollars: to be payment to the said Governor and his successors for the use of the Commonwealth for the payment whereof well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 28th day of July 1831. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound Andrew Tolley and Harriet A Tolley daughter of John Tolley of said County.
