UNROE AND SARAH ELIZA CLARK, 28 November 1845 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we: John T. Unroe & Henry McCorkle Are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the just and full sum of one hundred and fifty dollars. To which payment well and truly to be made to the said Commonwealth, for the use of the Commonwealth, we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 28 day of November 1845. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the said John T. Unroe and Sarah Eliza Clark daughter of John Clark and ward of Henry McCorkle Now, if there is no lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
