Hollar to Hollar Deed - 1928 - Rockingham Co., VA

THIS DEED made this 27th day of August, 1928, between Wm. J. Hollar and 
Rebecca J. Hollar, his wife, parties of the first part, and C. B. 
Hollar, party of the second part,
WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Seven Dollars ($107.00) 
cash in hand paid by said party of the second part to said parties of 
the first part upon the execution and delivery of this deed, the receipt 
of which sum is hereby acknowledged, they, said parties of the first 
part, do hereby bargain, sell, grant and convey, with Covenant of 
General Warranty, unto said party of the second part, all that certain 
lot or parcel of land, containing five (5) acres, two (2) roods and 
thirty-seven (37) poles, more or less, situate on the west side of the 
Little North Mountain Road, about three miles north of Singers Glen, in 
the Linville District, Rockingham County, Virginia, adjoining lands of 
William D. Lowry, and John Geits; this being the same land which was 
conveyed to W. J. Hollar by C. B. Hollar, executor of the last will and 
testament of D. M. Hollar, deceased, by deed of date June 25, 1928, and 
to be recorded in the County Clerk¼s Office of Rockingham County, 
Virginia, in advance of the present deed, Reference to which deed is 
here made.

I, Ethel Irwin, a notary public in and for the city and State aforesaid, 
whose term of office expires on the 13th day of July, 1929. hereby 
certify that Wm. J. Hollar and Rebecca J. Hollar, his wife, whose names 
are signed to the foregoing deed bearing date onthe 27th day of 
August,1928, have personally appeared before me in my said city and 
acknowledged the same.
