Hannah & Jacob Spitzer to Noah E. Hollar Deed - Rockingham Co., VA This Deed made the 17th day of July 1894, by and between Hannah C. Spitzer, the wife of Jacob Spitzer, and Jacob Spitzer, parties of the first part, and Noah E. Hollar, party of the second part and all parties of the County of Rockingham and State of Virginia - Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of Six Hundred Dollars to be paid to the parties of the first part in the Erection of a bank barn on the land where the aforesaid Jacob Spitzer now lives, now for the consideration of the above amount, as past payment for the Erection of the same - the aforesaid parties of the first part have sold unto the party of the second part their undivided interest in the lands of David Hollar dec¼d lying and being in the aforesaid county and state, and adjoins the lands of B. A. Showalter, David Reedy & others - and is further known as the home place on which the aforesaid David Hollar lived up to the time of his death. - And they the said parties of the first part hereby release unto the said party of the second part all claim or claims upon said land interest. And they the said grantors Covenant that they will warrent generally the lands herein conveyed, and that they have right to convey said lands to the said grantee; And that the said grantee shall have quiet possession of said lands free from all encumbrance - Witness the following signatures and seals. Spitzer, the wife of Jacob Spitzer, and Jacob Spitzer whose names are signed to the writing hereto annexed, bearing date July 17th, 1894, have acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid.
